Listen to this. (Earth Day inspiration from Cat Stevens.)
This year, Earth Day is focused on plastic pollution.
We create plastic pollution at an alarming rate, and 79% of the 6300 million metric tons (estimated in 2015) ends up in landfills and the environment. Plastic makes its way to the ocean – trapping and harming ocean wildlife. By the year 2050, it is estimated that there will be more plastic in the world’s oceans than fish. (earthday.org)
